SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced IT professional to support and secure DevSecOps environments, manage virtualization, storage, and network services on Linux and Windows platforms.

You will configure switches, VLANs, and Layer 2 protocols, while applying DoD STIGs/SCAP and security standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Competenze

• Securing IT systems following NIST, PCI, HIPAA, CMMC standards.
• Maintaining network security configurations and VPN/firewall controls.
• Managing AD, GPOs and Linux/Windows administration.

Mansioni

• Automate scripts and tasks for server installation, patch management, and configuration.
• Support of DevSecOps environments.
• Understand virtualization, networking and storage concepts.
• Configure network switches and VLANs, manage Layer 2 protocols.
• Learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively.
• Apply Ansible and other automation tools in operations.
• Work with virtualization/containerization (VmWare, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman).
• Manage Linux storage (LVM, RAID, SAN/NAS, NFS) and Ubuntu admin tasks.
• Document system configurations and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Scripting and Task Automation (e.g. server installation, patch management, configuration)
• Support of DevSecOps environments.
• Understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage concepts
• Hardware: Intel/AMD, Dell
• Configuration of network switches
• Experience with Layer 2 networking protocols (e.g. VLAN)
• Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly
• Excellent Problem Solving
• Strong customer service skills and communication
• Strong team communication
• Ansible
• DevSecOps environments (Github, Jfrog, Jenkins, GitLab, Fortify, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
