Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Plano, TX seeks a Specialist, Software Engineer to design and maintain a multi-staged DevSecOps pipeline for multiple programs. You will ensure nightly tests, report failures, and package software for release.

The role supports ADG in defense tech across UAVs, radar, and RF sensors, with on-site work and a 9/80 schedule. Strong C++/C# development and Agile practices are essential for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with an active Department of War Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience in computer/software engineering field.
Minimum of 5 years C++, C# development in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Design infrastructure and automated systems to support distributed architecture and deploy large program platforms.
Design, document, develop functional and unit tests per process and guidelines.
Investigate root causes and implement solutions independently or with teams.
Collaborate with engineers to develop interfaces and performance requirements.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements, design, hardware-software integration, and testing.
Use modeling tools to establish data, run tests, prototype, and evaluate results.
Participate in peer reviews, identify and repair defects.
