Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, AL seeks a DevSecOps Software Engineer to design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for our Air Force customer. You will integrate SAST/DAST/SCA, build IaC with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation, and manage Docker/Kubernetes security across environments.

The role requires 3–5 years in DevSecOps, ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enforce security throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of DevSecOps experience in security-focused roles.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Experience with development environments including version control systems, security tools, and pipeline automation solutions.
• Familiarity with NIST, STIGs, FedRAMP standards.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cyber, CS or related STEM field.

DevSecOps Software Engineer

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking a Software Engineer with DevSecOps Cloud experience. Provide Continuous Integration / Continuous Development cloud-based support our Air Force customer in our facility Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Integrate security scanning and testing tools into automated pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security scanners.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Contribute to containerized application deployments and support secure configurations within Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Help enforce security policies, compliance standards, and DevSecOps best practices across development and deployment workflows.
• Participate in automating security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to compliance efforts aligned with NIST, STIGs, FedRAMP, and other relevant security frameworks.
• Participate in security assessments, penetration testing activities, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support troubleshooting of security, infrastructure, and software issues in production and non-production environments.
• Assist with ongoing software maintenance to ensure performance, reliability, and adherence to secure coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and requirement gathering discussions with cross functional teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps. Cybersecurity, software security, or related technical roles are a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance; an active Secret Clearance is strongly preferred.
• Experience with development environments including version control systems, security tools, and pipeline automation solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Education:

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
