Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions seeks a DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to support a federal customer. This remote position is contingent on contract win.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines with Atlassian Cloud, GitLab, and AWS; implementing infrastructure-as-code and automated testing; and ensuring compliance with NIST and CIS standards. Requires 8+ years and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Hands-on with enterprise CI/CD, cloud automation, IaC, and release automation.
• Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, and AWS or similar clouds.
• Ability to develop reusable automation and platform documentation.
• Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; active Secret clearance preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer CI/CD workflows using Atlassian Cloud, GitLab, and NGDC AWS.
• Implement pipeline-as-code, templates, quality gates, and release controls.
• Integrate testing (unit, integration, end-to-end, security, and compliance).
• Implement IaC and cloud deployment patterns for portable apps.
• Maintain pipeline inventories, SOPs, and technical runbooks.
• Support compliance with NIST SP 800-218 and CIS standards.
• Provide platform troubleshooting and guidance to development and Government stakeholders.

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to join our team supporting a federal customer. This position is contingent on contract win.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer CI/CD workflows using customer's existing Atlassian Cloud, FSA GitLab, and NGDC AWS environment.
• Implement pipeline-as-code, reusable templates, automated quality gates, environment provisioning, configuration automation, and release controls.
• Integrate unit, integration, end-to-end, security, compliance, and infrastructure testing into delivery workflows.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment patterns that support portable and severable applications.
• Maintain pipeline tool inventories, code standards, reusable libraries, SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Support compliance with NIST SP 800-218, applicable OMB/CISA guidance, STIGs, and CIS standards.
• Provide platform troubleshooting, performance improvement, access support, and technical guidance to development and Government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Hands‑on experience implementing enterprise CI/CD, cloud/platform automation, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and release automation.
• Experience with Git‑based development, automated testing, security‑tool integration, and AWS or comparable cloud environments.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical procedures, reusable automation, and platform documentation.
• Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust. At least an active Secret clearance is highly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
