Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a DevSecOps Manager in Owego, NY, to lead a multi-discipline team across programs, managing technical, cost, and schedule execution from design through implementation. You will mentor team members, oversee development life cycles, and ensure adherence to standards and processes.

The role emphasizes leadership in engineering, introduction of modern tools, and talent development, with travel up to 10% and the ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or similar related field.
• Experience with leading large development teams.
• Minimum related experience of 8 years in engineering.
• Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing on engineering intensive programs.
• Solid understanding of Agile, DevSecOps and Digital Transformation (Dx).
• Understanding of all phases of engineering development process.
• Experience presenting to the customer and all levels of internal and external higher management.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Active Secret Level security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical, cost, and schedule execution of multiple software development activities across programs.
• Oversee personnel management tasks such as performance assessments and staffing.
• Address staffing requests and contract-related issues; execute recovery plans and participate in key milestones.
