Job summary

Ladders is seeking a DevSecOps Manager to guide secure software development across engineering teams. You will lead a technical team focused on embedding security into modern delivery pipelines, strengthening software provenance, and reducing risk throughout the development lifecycle.

The role partners with engineering leaders to advance secure-by-design practices while improving release speed, consistency, and confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application security, DevSecOps, or a related field.
• 2+ years in people management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline security, GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of secure software development and secure-by-design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DevSecOps team, defining the roadmap for security practices.
• Drive secure-by-design initiatives through threat modeling and design reviews.
• Standardize trusted container images and secure base components for software hardening.
• Establish integrity controls for software provenance throughout deployment workflows.
• Embed automated security controls into CI/CD and developer workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to minimize vulnerabilities and supply chain risks.
• Define metrics for secure development adoption and vulnerability reduction.

For our client, we are seeking a DevSecOps Manager to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will guide the strategy and execution of secure software development practices across engineering teams. You will lead a technical team focused on embedding security into modern delivery pipelines, strengthening software provenance, and reducing risk across the development lifecycle. The position will partner closely with engineering leaders to advance secure-by-design practices while improving speed, consistency, and confidence in release processes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $131,000 – $187,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DevSecOps team, defining the roadmap for security practices
• Drive secure-by-design initiatives through threat modeling and design reviews
