Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a DevSecOps Factory Lead responsible for owning and maturing the technical infrastructure, processes, and procedures for a multi-stakeholder DevSecOps environment. This role leads a team of software, DevSecOps, and cloud engineers to build and refine the DevSecOps Factory, working closely with external users to ensure smooth transition and regular use.

This is a remote position with occasional on-site requirements near Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Requirements:

• Leadership desire to build, mature, and operate a world-class DevSecOps Factory at enterprise scale.
• Expert knowledge of Gitlab, supported by proven experience.
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and their application at an enterprise level.
• Proven leadership of highly skilled technical teams in a hybrid work environment, maintaining regular hours (0900 – 1700 EST).
• Successful project management experience exceeding performance goals in schedule, cost, and capability.
• Ability to develop positive, enduring relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Expert knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a DoD setting.
• Expertise in modern software architecture approaches (containerization, orchestration, MOSA, Event-Driven, API Gateway, etc.).
• Continuous improvement mindset to enhance software Factory performance.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps metrics and reporting.
• Experience pursuing security accreditations.
• Knowledge of cloud service providers like AWS Gov Cloud.
• Ability to contribute to process development and training.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal (professional presentations and interactions) and written (high-quality documentation and briefing materials).

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 15-20+ years of related professional experience.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with CBRND systems.
• Experience with Mission Command systems.
• Experience building AI/ML solutions.
