Job summary

AM Technologies seeks candidates for an on-site role in Sterling, VA requiring Active TS/SCI with a CI Poly. The candidate should meet DOD 8140 Security+ CE and have extensive experience in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud architecture, preferably AWS.

Strong documentation, Jira story decomposition, and integration development using Python/PowerShell/Groovy are essential. Experience with containerized development (Kubernetes) and DevOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, LDAP) is required,

Job description

Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required. On-site position - Sterling, VA. Must have Sec+ or better.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

We are actively seeking candidates with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field is preferred. Specific skills include the following:

• At a minimum, meet DOD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
• Expertise working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), test automation and / or DevSecOps on iterative development projects
• Solid ability to demonstrate solid engineering rigor
• Demonstrated experience with system testing and validation
• Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
• Experience with Cloud architecture and system design (prefer AWS, but will consider Azure)
• Strong documentation skills
• Familiar with Agile Methodologies
• Ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories
• Developing integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
• Experience and comfortability with Basic DevOps Tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP)
• Familiarity with Containerized Development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
• Expertise with creating robust test plans
• Ability to quickly get familiar with customer system security requirements and processes
• Preparation and maintenance of system components
• Experience with API Gateways, catalogs

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools
• Experience with Cloud solution optimization
• Experience configuring and instrumenting Virtualization tools (Grafana, Splunk)
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Other Cloud experience (Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)
• Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques
• Assist with leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains
• SharePoint admin systems engineering experience
• IBM Enterprise Lifcycle Management systems engineering experience
• TeamWork Cloud/Cameo systems engineering experience
• Tableau systems engineering experience
