Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure software delivery, cloud security engineering, automation, and cybersecurity integration for federal programs. This role emphasizes implementing modern DevSecOps practices and secure, automated delivery across the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in DevSecOps, strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native platforms, and security tooling, and can collaborate with federal agencies to meet compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• IAT III/IAM II/IASAE III can substitute for degree or 4 years of experience.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with federal security frameworks and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DevSecOps pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Integrate security controls and testing throughout software development and deployment lifecycles.
• Support secure cloud engineering, infrastructure-as-code, and platform modernization.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and compliance validation.
• Evaluate, deploy, and optimize cybersecurity tools and automation capabilities.

Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure software delivery, cloud security engineering, automation, and cybersecurity integration initiatives supporting the VA COSE program. This individual will drive the implementation of modern DevSecOps practices, integrate security throughout the development lifecycle, and enable secure, automated delivery of enterprise cybersecurity capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DevSecOps pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Integrate security controls and testing throughout software development and deployment lifecycles.
• Support secure cloud engineering, infrastructure-as-code, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and compliance validation activities.
• Evaluate, deploy, and optimize cybersecurity tools and automation capabilities.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting enterprise security objectives.
• Support Zero Trust, cloud security, container security, and software supply chain initiatives.
• Create engineering runbooks, technical documentation, and implementation standards.

Requirements

• Successful candidates must be eligible to meet VA Tier 4/High Risk background investigation requirements.
• Minimum 10 years of DevSecOps experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting cybersecurity and cloud security initiatives.
• Experience supporting Federal agencies comparable to VA, DoD, IRS, or GSA.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native technologies, containerized platforms, automation, vulnerability management, and secure software delivery.
• Experience integrating security tools and automated testing into development pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or related discipline.
• IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III certification may substitute for a relevant bachelor's degree or four (4) years of relevant experience.
• One or more certification: IAT Level III, IAM Level II, IASAE Level III.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or FedRAMP cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code.
• Experience supporting RMF, FedRAMP, ATO, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Experience with container orchestration, automation platforms, and enterprise cybersecurity tooling.

Total Rewards Statement
