Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Cape Canaveral, Florida, on-site. You will integrate security across the Software Development Life Cycle, automate controls, and deploy to cloud infrastructure using a modern GitOps toolchain (Docker, Argo CD, Linux, GitHub).

You will interact with senior customer personnel and may guide junior engineers while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and security practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in a STEM discipline; 1.5 years of software development may substitute 1 year of education.

Responsibilities

Implement new security tools, technologies, and architectures into the development pipeline.
Automate key security processes to reduce pipeline errors and improve incident response metrics.
Test new systems and applications to ensure operational integrity and security.
Create software and coding solutions that enable a highly efficient and secure organizational infrastructure.
Identify security holes, potential breaches, and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities proactively.
Develop robust security strategies and controls embedded directly within the SDLC and promote cybersecurity awareness and DevSecOps best practices.
Monitor the overall network and security infrastructure to ensure compliance with DoD standards.
