Job summary

Interclypse, based in Maryland, seeks a senior DevSecOps engineer to strengthen our CI/CD pipeline by integrating security from the start. You will design, implement, and optimize secure deployment processes across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with DevOps, security, and development teams.

This on-site role focuses on shifting security left, automating tests, and safeguarding infrastructure, builds, and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in a DevOps or cybersecurity role.
• Five (5)+ years of hands-on experience architecting secure CI/CD pipelines; expert in scripting, IaC, and container security.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and optimizes the software development environment with a primary focus on integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Champions DevSecOps best practices, shifting security left by integrating automated security tools into the SDLC.
• Responsible for the security of the infrastructure, build, integration, and software deployment process.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary: Develops, maintains, and optimizes the software development environment with a primary focus on integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline. Is responsible for the security of the infrastructure, build, integration, and software deployment process.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related area of specialty is preferred.

General Experience: At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in either a DevOps or cybersecurity role.

Specialized Experience:

• At least five (5) years of hands‑on experience architecting and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be a subject matter expert in scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code, and container security.
