Job summary

Centil, a Sabel Systems company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team in Boulder, CO, working onsite in a dynamic, agile environment. The role emphasizes DevSecOps across the software lifecycle, from design to operations, with collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain pipelines, apply security best practices, and provide status updates on design efforts. A SECRET DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Java and C/C++ programming on Windows and Linux
• Batch/File scripting and Python
• SQL and relational databases
• Ability to design solutions to complex engineering problems
• Active SECRET DoD security clearance or higher
• Willingness to work full-time onsite in Boulder, CO

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Build tools to reduce errors and improve user experience
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues
• Document procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize code for performance and scalability
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring using Kubernetes and Docker
• Continuously improve DevOps processes and tooling
• Enforce security and compliance best practices
