Job summary

OASYS, INC., a Huntsville-based government contractor, seeks a DevSecOps Software Engineer to design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for an Air Force customer in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

You will integrate security testing tools, develop IaC with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, and manage container deployments with Docker and Kubernetes. A DoD Secret clearance is preferred and a STEM degree is typical.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in DevSecOps or related security roles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; an active Secret Clearance is strongly preferred.
• Experience with development environments including version control systems, security tools, and pipeline automation solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline; years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Engage with a team of software engineers, providing technical support for secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security scanning tools into automated pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container security).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Support Docker/Kubernetes deployments with secure configurations.
• Enforce DevSecOps security policies and practices across the SDLC.
• Automate security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security controls.
• Contribute to compliance with NIST, STIGs, FedRAMP and other frameworks.
• Participate in security assessments, penetration testing, and remediation.
• Troubleshoot security, infrastructure, and software issues in prod and non-prod environments.
