deciBel Research, Inc. is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and secure automation for the Missile Defense Agency's Threat Modeling Center.

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience and a STEM degree, with active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Competitive salary and extensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree; 3+ years with a Master's; 1+ year with a PhD.
• Experience with containerization and container runtime technologies (Docker, Podman, or similar).
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines/factories (unit/integration/acceptance tests).
• Experience deploying applications in containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jira, GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Coverity, or Jenkins.
• Unix/Linux operating systems experience; strong Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with credential/identity management solutions and secure non-interactive access.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) a plus.
• Experience with MBSE and BDD (Gherkin/Cucumber) for automated acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management.
• Implement and manage containerization with Docker/Podman and related configs.
• Integrate automated testing and security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance and ensure reliability, security, and compliance across environments.
• Work with identity management to support secure automation and access control.
