Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer at our Huntsville, AL location. You will design, deploy, test, certify, and operate secure DevSecOps infrastructure tools and dependencies across Linux environments, ensuring interoperability and patch management.

Responsibilities include deploying services via IaaS, configuring Linux servers for dynamic website hosting, and maintaining monitoring tools. Requires 5 years' experience, Splunk, and a TS clearance with SCI eligibility; U.S.

Qualifications

5 years of experience
Experience with Linux based environment administration
Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity
Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity
Splunk Experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work, and ability to maintain this level of clearance during employment.

Responsibilities

Design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues of DevSecOps infrastructure tools and dependencies.
Maintain primary Operations and Maintenance workforce across multiple tools.
Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider.
Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support a dynamic website.
Debug cluster-based computing architectures and use scripting or programming to resolve issues.
Install and manage open-source monitoring tools.
