Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support automation pipelines, tooling, and security controls across development environments. The role emphasizes IaC, containerization, and scalable deployment in an enterprise Kubernetes setting.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, author scripts in various languages, and maintain documentation while ensuring platform availability for mission-critical tools.

Qualifications

• Associates' or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Three or more years of progressively responsible DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, or IT/security automation supporting multiple teams.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps platforms in private and cloud environments.
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with VMware-based data center technologies and containerization.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform and similar automation tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain automation deployment and monitoring scripts.
• Develop and maintain security controls and systems.
• Manage virtualized and containerized assets and networks.
• Design, test, and deploy apps in an enterprise Kubernetes environment.
• Contribute to an automated DevSecOps environment and configure deployment processes.
• Document DevSecOps processes and automation.
• Analyze performance data and present results.
• Support platform improvements to maximize availability of development tools.
• Troubleshoot system problems and provide root-cause analysis.
