Overview

DLH is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team.The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions across enterprise cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.This position will support modernization initiatives including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) 3.0, cloud security, security operations, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, governance, and AI-enabled automation.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain integrations between enterprise security platforms including Splunk, ServiceNow, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, CyberArk, Active Directory, and cloud-native tools
  • Design automation solutions to improve cybersecurity operations, compliance monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and data analytics solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and related technologies
  • Support Zero Trust, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST cybersecurity requirements
  • Support AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365 security initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Systems Integration, and Security Automation
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps, SQL, SharePoint, Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments
  • Knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust, and secure software development practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CISSP) and vendor-related certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure DevOps, Azure Security, GCP) preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong cross-team collaboration and coordination across diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Prior experience supporting federal agencies or large enterprise environments
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, CyberArk, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 security (preferred)
  • Experience supporting ATO, continuous monitoring, and security automation initiatives (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled cybersecurity tools and cloud security frameworks (preferred)
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Basic Compensation: $125,000 - $132,000 yearly salary

The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
