Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a DevSecOps Engineer III to design, build, and maintain a stable, scalable infrastructure for production, QA, and development across the full software lifecycle. You will deliver automation, security tooling, and reliable deployments in a highly regulated environment.

The role requires 7+ years in DevSecOps with expertise in Jenkins, Ansible, AWS, and scripting. You will collaborate across teams to ensure end-to-end quality and resilience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role, with focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
• Experience across production, QA, and development environments and multiple classified domains (e.g., IL5, IL6+).
• Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools and version control systems.

Job Description :

As a DevSecOps Engineer III, you will design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.

The work you'll do :

• Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring.
• Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.

Here's what you'll need :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Certification to satisfy IAT Level 2 (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar).
• 7+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation, scalability, and reliability across the software development lifecycle; and delivering DevSecOps services across multiple classified domains (e.g., IL5, IL6+).
• Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
• Experience utilizing version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, and/or CVS.
• Experienced with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
• Understands AWS and other services.
• Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.

Bonus points if you have :

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and other automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and/or Prisma Cloud).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), in a Linux environment (e.g., RHEL, Oracle Linux, or similar).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Ansible).
