Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to support space-ground systems, real-time data processing, and deployment automation. This on-site Boulder role involves coordinating CI/CD pipelines, security practices, and multi-application deployments in complex environments.

You will work closely with deployment teams, maintain CI/CD pipelines, perform risk-reducing security measures, and ensure compliant, reliable software delivery for DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Active Interim DoD Secret Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required; background screen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage release processes: branching, versioning, manifest management, tests.
• Create, maintain, and optimize CI pipelines.
• Monitor CI pipelines and resolve issues.
• Promote versions within CI pipelines and manage artifacts.
• Integrate CI with tools for artifact mgmt, testing, and quality checks.
• Implement Continuous Delivery and deploy applications to orchestrated environments.
• Manage multi-application deployment in orchestrated frameworks.
• Troubleshoot deployed apps in dev and prod.
• Maintain Helm charts and ensure security protocols.
