Job summary

LufCo is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a program in Aberdeen, MD. The DevSecOps Engineer will design, secure, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, development environments, infrastructure, and containerized platforms while supporting DoD security and ATO requirements.

Key responsibilities include building secure pipelines, IaC, Ansible playbooks, and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes. Travel to customer locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of technical experience with 4+ years in DevSecOps/CI/CD.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments.
• DoD environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of RMF/ATO processes and security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Testing, and Operations teams to improve delivery processes.
• Support DoD security requirements, RMF, and ATO activities through automation and secure technical controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and automated deployments.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation scripts.
• Build and secure Linux and Windows system images for DoD environments.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Podman, or similar technologies.
• Integrate automated testing and security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support system hardening, patching, configuration, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot pipeline, infrastructure, application, networking, and container issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration baselines, and deployment procedures.
