Job description

The candidate will engage in DevSecOps engineering activities. A successful candidate will have at least (4+) years of experience as a software engineer or developer with recent (4+) years of experience in DevSecOps engineering, DevOps, and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment using cloud technologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Building and maintaining a complete CI / CD Pipeline from scratch (preferably using Groovy).
  2. Ensuring solutions are implemented and delivered with best practices, standards, and appropriate controls based on business needs.
  3. Mentoring team members on AWS design and implementation, creating runbooks to document processes for platform maintenance.
  4. Developing automation processes, code deployments, platform support, and maintenance activities using tools like Jenkins, Veracode, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Liquibase, etc.
  5. Possessing excellent skills in PowerShell and Jenkins.
  6. Following all organizational SOPs, approvals, reviews, and related workflows.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience analyzing customer service requirements and designing CI / CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins or similar tools.
  2. Extensive experience transitioning from on-premise data centers to cloud services.
  3. End-to-end DevSecOps software engineering experience.
  4. Strong knowledge of DevOps concepts, SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Kanban.
  5. Experience working with AWS DevSecOps services, securing applications with Veracode, SonarQube, Xray, or similar, and familiarity with repositories like Bitbucket or Gitlab.
  6. Extensive skills with Linux and Windows OS.
  7. Proficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Golang, Bash/Shell, with design experience.
  8. Ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with Application Monitoring tools.
  2. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.
  3. Experience designing and automating build/deploy solutions for databases using Liquibase, Snowflake, SAS Viya, UIPath, Elastic, Deploy Hub, automated tests (Selenium, ReadyAPI), Python, Groovy, Bash/Shell.
