Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in the Raleigh-Durham area for a hybrid role with three days onsite. The candidate will focus on remediation of vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments, leveraging AWS and EKS with RBAC controls.

Collaboration with development and DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD is essential. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in DevSecOps, strong cloud and container security skills, and a proven track record remediating

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and secure system design.
• Proven experience remediating vulnerabilities in applications and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Implement security best practices within AWS and EKS environments, including RBAC configurations.

Piper Companies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a world leading technology organization in the Raleigh Durham, North Carolina area. The DevSecOps Engineer role is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite in the office. The DevSecOps Engineer will focus on vulnerability remediation across applications and cloud environments, ensuring security risks are identified, prioritized, and resolved effectively. An ideal candidate for the DevSecOps Engineer role is an experienced security engineer with strong expertise in AWS, EKS, RBAC, and application vulnerability remediation.

Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
