Job summary

Peregrine Advisors in Washington, DC area seeks a DevOps-focused engineer to stand up CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and secure infrastructure for a federal COTS stack.

You will own CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and ATO-compliant security controls, deploying Momentum on AWS or in-environment, with monitoring and audit trails, in a hybrid DC-area role.

Your first assignment

Your first assignment is to stand up the pipelines and secure infrastructure that carry a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) financial stack into production for a federal agency, deploying CGI Momentum on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or in-environment with automation, monitoring, and security built in from the start. You will own continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure-as-code, and the controls that earn an Authority to Operate (ATO). The work is real, hard, and it matters. It is also where you start, not the shape of your career here: we hire people, not seats, and we move our best to where the hardest problems are.

What you'll build

• Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure-as-code that deploy the COTS stack (Momentum on AWS or in-environment) repeatably and securely.
• The security fabric around it: containerization, monitoring and logging, vulnerability scanning, and the evidence that carries a system through its Authority to Operate (ATO).
• In time, the firm itself: new capabilities, tools, and lines of business you help spin up.

What you'll need

U.S. citizenship (this initial engagement may be staffed by U.S. citizens only) and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. This is a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and it requires commuting into DC regularly.
