Job Description: DevSecOps Engineer

Our client, a cybersecurity company, is building advanced tools that help organizations proactively manage and defend their attack surfaces. Their flagship open-source product is trusted by security teams worldwide. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure infrastructure scaling, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain secure infrastructure supporting 1,000+ Docker-based deployments
• Build and manage GitHub Actions pipelines with integrated security tools (SAST, DAST, image scanning)
• Use Terraform and Ansible for consistent cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Implement container best practices and lead migration to Kubernetes
• Integrate SSO providers (Auth0, Okta, EntraID) using OAuth2/OIDC
• Set up centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Develop incident response plans and support threat modeling efforts

Requirements

• 3+ years in a DevOps or DevSecOps role (cloud-native or SaaS)
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and major cloud providers
• Familiarity with Python applications and MongoDB
• Solid understanding of OAuth2/OIDC and SSO integrations
• Excellent documentation and cross-team communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in cybersecurity or attack surface management
• Background in multi-tenant or customer-isolated SaaS platforms
• Certifications (OSCP, CISSP, AWS/GCP Security Specialty)
