Job summary

Rincon Research Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design secure cloud processing solutions for national security applications and to oversee real-time data workflows from architecture to deployment.

You will manage Linux-based infrastructures, Kubernetes clusters (Kubernetes and Longhorn), and security controls, participating across the full system lifecycle while ensuring compliance and automation.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux system administration.
  • Experience installing and administering Kubernetes, Longhorn, and enterprise scale cloud applications.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required.

What are the primary responsibilities in the DevSecOps Engineer position?

Core responsibilities include designing real‑time cloud processing solutions, implementing advanced signal processing and geolocation algorithms with efficient software, testing with real data, and delivering applications to front‑line customer facilities. You craft effective user interfaces and data visualization tools. A key duty is staying current with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies, as well as experimenting with new technologies to bring innovative solutions into RRC projects. RRC team members can expect to work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and testing, deployment and operations & maintenance, gaining direct mission feedback from customers and seeing your work make a meaningful impact. You are encouraged and expected to suggest improvements for the applications and frameworks you work on. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to self‑initiator is essential.

What required background will make you successful?
  • Experience with Linux system administration
  • Experience installing and administering Kubernetes, Longhorn, and enterprise scale cloud applications
  • Security+ Certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
