Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned, hands-on engineer to champion DevSecOps, SRE, and release automation across hybrid on-premises and Azure/GCP environments. The role demands scale-ready expertise and the ability to drive outcomes end-to-end.

The candidate should have 8–10 years in DevSecOps/SRE, strong CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), cloud security skills, and familiarity with observability platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of combined experience across DevSecOps, SRE, and release engineering in an enterprise environment.
• Proven hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Experience with Azure and/or GCP security services and on premises controls.
• Observability platforms like Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, or similar.
• Scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience in hybrid environments (on premises and cloud).
• Strong understanding of SAST, DAST, SBOM, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation workflows.
• Ability to define SLIs, SLOs, and manage error budgets.
• Healthcare industry or regulated environment experience (HIPAA, SOX, FDA).
• Certifications: AZ 400, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes end to end across hybrid environments (on premises and Azure/GCP).

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on engineer who operates as a champion across five disciplines: Site Reliability Engineering, System Administration, Monitoring and Observability, CI/CD Automation, and Security. This person will be embedded in the DevSecOps and SRE team and is expected to own outcomes end to end across hybrid environments (on premises and Azure/GCP). This is not a beginner level role. We need someone who has already done this at scale and can hit the ground running.
