Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Infrastructure/DevOps professional to collaborate with a skilled team in delivering a complex software application into operations. You will grow cloud/DevSecOps skills and contribute to rapid delivery within the DevOps squad.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Terraform, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines, while leveraging AWS/GCP/Azure and RMF/STIG knowledge. A TS/SCI clearance with Poly is preferred or must be obtainable.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
• Interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, CloudFormation)
• Experience creating, editing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions)
• Experience with containerized apps and container orchestration
• Bachelors or 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree
• IAT Level II/III certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CASP+)
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly ability
• Working knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodology
• Familiarity with RMF processes
• Familiarity with Linux administration and STIG hardening
• Familiarity with GitOps deployment workflows
• Experience with cloud networking and cloud security concepts

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as code tooling such as Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation

• Scripting, automation, and programming skills, such as Bash or Python

• Existing or ability to obtain IAT Level II or III certification, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+
• Active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly
• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
• Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and STIG hardening
