Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to support CI/CD pipeline administration across AWS environments. You will assist with IaC development using Terraform or CloudFormation, monitor systems, and help automate deployment, patching, backup and recovery processes.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, 1+ year of DevOps or cloud engineering experience, familiarity with AWS, networking, security, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) plus Git and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required; candidate must obtain and maintain a Public Trust prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; minimum 1+ year of work experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools; basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.

What You Will Do

Support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement activities across AWS cloud environments. Participate in implementation of automation initiatives designed to reduce operational toil and improve deployment consistency.

What You Will Need

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. US Citizenship is contractually required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience. Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience. Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts. Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.

What Would Be Nice To Have

AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana. Experience working in Agile environments. Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

The annual salary range for this position is $46,000.00-$76,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
