Job summary

DiversiTech Corporation seeks a DevSecOps & Network Engineer to automate infrastructure, embed security into CI/CD, and manage cloud and on‑prem environments. The role requires deep expertise in network architecture, systems administration, and security best practices.

You will support IT Operations with secure, reliable delivery of services, collaborate with development teams on secure code deployment, and participate in on‑call rotations. Strong problem‑solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 5–7 years in DevOps, SecOps, or systems/network administration.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
• Able to research and solve complex issues independently.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the DevSecOps & Network Engineer is to operate in a dynamic role that integrates development, security, and IT operations. This position is responsible for automating infrastructure, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, and managing network and system operations across both cloud and on‑premises environments. This position will support the IT Operations team’s initiatives to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of IT services across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network architecture, systems administration, and security best practices.

• Embeds security controls and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.
• Automates infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Collaborates with development teams to ensure secure code deployment.
• Designs, configures, and maintains secure network architectures (LAN/WAN/VPN/Firewall).
• Monitors network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implants network segmentation and zero‑trust principles.
• Manages Linux and Windows servers, including patching, backups, and performance tuning.
• Maintains high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Administers IAM, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Conducts vulnerability assessments and remediate findings.
• Manages endpoint protection, SIEM tools, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ensures compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
• Supports the IT Operations Manager and team, including resource planning, performance management, and professional development.
• Develops and enforces IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Attends and actively participate in weekly meetings.
• Coordinates with the IT team to meet departmental objectives.
• Provides emergency 24x7 on‑call support on a rotating basis.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Educational Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• 5 – 7 years of experience in DevOps, SecOps, or Systems/Network Administration
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, Ethernet, CISCO UCS, NetApp, Microsoft Office 365, switching, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), 802.1Q, and DNS
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and high‑volume environment
• Proactive self‑starter with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Office hours are 8AM to 5PM, with on‑call availability required during non‑scheduled hours.
