Job summary
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time software engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate software for defence space systems. You will work on front-end and back-end components using JavaScript and Java, and contribute to automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
The role requires experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) in cloud platforms and a strong track record in Agile environments, with TS clearance eligibility.
Qualifications
- Development experience with Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Experience with application containerization in a cloud environment.
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible and defense of the high ground.
- Dynamically optimizing terrestrial and space-based sensors for space domain awareness.
- Strategically optimizing placement and maneuvering of satellite constellations to satisfy evolving priorities.
