Job summary

The AES Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and test automation frameworks. This role will bridge development and operations to improve reliability, scalability, and delivery speed across platforms serving millions of customers.

Required: 8+ years in DevOps/test automation, strong scripting (Python/JS/Java/Bash/Go), and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, test automation, or related field.
• Strong scripting in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Bash, or Go.
• Experience automating APIs using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, or Pytest.
• UI automation with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and test automation frameworks that support our engineering organization. This role will bridge development and operations while driving reliability, scalability, and delivery speed across platforms serving millions of customers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, test automation, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.


• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Bash, or Go.


• Hands‑on experience developing API automation using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, or Pytest.


• Hands‑on experience developing frontend UI automation using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.


• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.


• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.


• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.


• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Azure DevOps Expert.


• Experience with contract testing, particularly Pact.


• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.


• Experience with visual regression testing tools such as Applitools or Percy.


• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools.


• Experience supporting large‑scale, high‑availability, distributed systems.


• Exposure to telecommunications, media, or broadband environments.
