We are seeking a DevOps Technical Specialist to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. You will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services—including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems—for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

Our team relies on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices to manage enterprise IT infrastructure supporting critical missions. Your focus will be on automating deployment of infrastructure, code, applications, and image management to streamline processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching technology options and evaluating their performance, security, and interoperability.
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to resolve issues and improve automation practices.
  • Managing scripts with third-party tools to automate deployment workflows.
  • Monitoring deployment health, troubleshooting issues, and redeploying as needed.
  • Maintaining and improving IaC architecture, including source code repositories and deployment pipelines.
  • Developing reusable automation modules for infrastructure, data storage, messaging, and cybersecurity.
  • Creating and maintaining infrastructure configuration code.
  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud environments, and managing configurations.
  • Planning and executing capacity upgrades and troubleshooting performance issues.
  • Documenting system designs, configurations, and procedures.
  • Developing data flow pipelines for application integration and data federation.

Qualifications

Security Clearance: ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required. Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria, including U.S. citizenship.

Key Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher within six months.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional or Systems Engineer certification is highly desirable.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or GED; 7+ years with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of IaC and DevOps architectures and tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with automation frameworks, source management systems, and build tools.
  • Knowledge of Windows platforms, Active Directory, GPO, VDI, networking, and cybersecurity aspects.
  • Experience with MS Azure cloud services and data integration tools.
  • Understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
