Job summary

EPAM Systems in the United States is seeking a DevOps Team Lead to guide a MaaS platform on Azure, overseeing CI/CD, infrastructure, and operations to standardize financial model lifecycles.

You will lead a team of 4, design cloud infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform and ARM, manage AKS and Docker containers, and drive automation with Python/PowerShell while ensuring cost efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and Azure Cloud engineering.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management using GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for containerized applications.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and IAM policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure, CI/CD and operational aspects of the complex project.
• Manage a team of DevOps specialists (4 members).
• Provide Release Manager support and coordinate deployments across environments.
• Design infrastructure technical solutions and take ownership of features end-to-end.
• Implement and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and IaC; develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply IaC tools like Terraform and ARM templates to provision resources.
• Handle Azure Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost, efficiency and performance.
