Insight Global is seeking a Junior DevOps/Systems Engineer to work on a 7-month project migrating CI from Concourse/TeamCity/Jenkins to GitHub Actions. This role involves converting pipelines for teams needing support and requires strong CI/CD, debugging, and GitHub Actions skills.

Job Description

A fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a junior DevOps/Systems Engineer to join their team for a 7‑month project. The project is to migrate all CI from the current Concourse/TeamCity/Jenkins implementation to GitHub Actions Paved Road (Paved Road is a company internal customization of GitHub Actions). This person will be converting the existing pipelines for teams that don’t have the bandwidth or knowledge to do it themselves. They will leverage guides written by the DevTools team to accomplish this task. This person will also communicate with teams and leverage Project Managers for more information. This person is expected to complete, on average, 40‑45 pipeline conversions a week.

Compensation

PR: $35‑$45/HR. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
