Job summary

A leading technology and solutions firm is looking for an intern DevOps Engineer to work in Morgantown, WV, or Reston, VA for Summer 2026. This full-time, onsite role for 3 months offers the chance to support the continuous integration and delivery of software products and gain experience in cloud infrastructure management. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This position also requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies within a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science or similar field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps concepts and best practices.
• Fundamental background with software design patterns and programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently with strong communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous integration and continuous delivery of software products.
• Leverage tools to manage private and public cloud infrastructures via code.
• Design reusable infrastructure components for cloud-based applications.
• Evaluate and apply best practices for continuous improvement across teams.
