Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Austin, TX seeks a senior DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and automation tooling in a multi-cloud environment spanning AWS and GCP.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering, software development, and application teams to enable high-quality software delivery, GitOps-driven deployments, and improved service reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container-based workloads (Docker)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar)
• Experience with GitOps tooling-ArgoCD or FluxCD required
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, Go)
• Understanding of software design principles, software architecture, APIs, and automated testing
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation
• Experience with cloud platforms-AWS required; GCP experience a plus

GCP. You will work directly with Platform Engineering, software development, and

application teams to enable high-quality software delivery, maintain GitOps-driven

deployments, and improve service reliability. The ideal candidate has strong software

development skills, is comfortable with Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration,

and GitOps workflows, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders

and shifting priorities.
