Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support CI/CD automation for POC software in a regulated medical device context. You will own DevOps tools, automate pipelines, and help scale both on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps, with a focus on reliability, security, and cost optimization across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field with 2–5 years DevOps/CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Python, shell scripting, or Groovy.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, or equivalents.
• GitOps and observability tools like Argo CD, Flux, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Git and TFVC.
• Strong Windows and Linux operating system knowledge.
• Experience in regulated software development; medical device experience preferred.
• Familiarity with secure software development, release controls, and supply chain security.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned DevOps tools, services, automation platforms, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and implement scalable technologies improving reliability, security, maintainability, cost, and productivity.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based DevOps servers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize resources for scalability, efficiency, performance, and cost; address bottlenecks.
• Investigate complex pipeline, infrastructure, integration, and performance issues and implement fixes.
• Define and monitor service, pipeline, infrastructure, and automation metrics for improvements.
• Maintain Jenkins server and develop CI/CD pipelines; improve existing pipelines.
• Deploy and maintain DevOps tools, including code quality, security scans, and integrate into workflows.
