Job summary

Air is seeking a dynamic DevOps Director to lead our DevOps and SDET teams in Pittsburgh. You will own CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure, guiding delivery pipelines and testing frameworks across government and industrial customers.

You will mentor engineers, drive security, reliability, and performance improvements, and collaborate with leadership to translate business needs into scalable infrastructure and testing strategies. This is a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT.
7+ years managing cloud infra, DevOps, or QA teams.
5+ years with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
5+ years people management.
Experience with microservices, cloud platforms, and containers.
Experience leading Agile development teams.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead DevOps and SDET team through the full software lifecycle.
Oversee CI/CD implementations and automation standards.
Develop and scale cloud infrastructure and testing suites.
Ensure security, reliability, and quality of deliverables.
Collaborate with leadership to translate requirements into infrastructure and testing specs.
Drive process improvements and innovation in environment provisioning.
Mentor cross-functional teams and promote collaboration.
Coordinate release schedules and align with business goals.
Maintain IaC, test scripts, and monitoring quality.
