Job summary

Esri is seeking an experienced DevOps Platform Engineer to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling in Redlands, CA. You will implement cloud automation, IaC, and secure software delivery practices across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

Join a team supporting mission-critical software delivery with containerized build environments, SBOM tooling, and Kubernetes-based delivery platforms. A TS clearance is preferred and relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional DevOps, CI/CD, or platform automation.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, or similar).
• Exposure to YAML-based pipeline configurations and infrastructure definitions.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python and/or JavaScript preferred).
• Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, AWS CDK, Terraform or similar.
• Ability to write and optimize Docker files and support container-based deployments.
• Understanding of artifact management, dependency management, and secure build practices.
• Familiarity with SBOM tools and artifact signing concepts.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure compute and storage services (S3, Blob Storage).
• US citizenship with Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, DevOps, GIS, or STEM related field.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD pipeline engineering and maintenance for mission-critical software delivery.
• Develop and maintain GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins pipelines.
• Create Docker-based build environments and Python automation flows.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Ansible; manage cloud resources.
• Support SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
• Automate cloud delivery environments with Kubernetes-based tooling.
