Job Title

DevOps/Platform Engineer

Summary:

We are looking for a talented DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our team. Your role will involve managing IT infrastructure components.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain VB Application Lifecycle Management;
2. Create and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations;
3. Promote Continuous Delivery, best practices, and process automation across the company;
4. Advocate for the DevOps mindset and self-service infrastructure;
5. Automate manual tasks and focus on automation;
6. Work comfortably with Windows and Linux/Unix systems;
7. Design high-availability scenarios and operate complex solutions.

About the Ideal Candidate:

1. Strong understanding of the full compute stack: storage, networking, OS, virtualization, containerization, configuration management, and provisioning;
2. Experience in automation development;
3. Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies (VMWare, VirtualBox, Packer, Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes);
4. Experience with cloud platform delivery and operation;
5. Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, Consul, Prometheus, ELK, etc.;
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Nexus;
7. Understanding of data stream platforms, message brokers, and queues;
8. Proficiency in English.
