Job summary

Dale WorkForce Solutions is seeking a DevOps Pipeline Engineer for a contract position in Columbia, SC, onsite 3x per week (Tue-Thu).

The role supports a DevOps-focused Monitoring, Observability & Pipeline team, owning and troubleshooting the platforms the team manages, and integrating automation with scripts and test code. The ideal candidate will work with Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, and DevOps Deploy.

Qualifications

• Experience with pipeline tools and CI/CD implementations.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation within DevOps environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Join our DevOps-focused Monitoring, Observability & Pipeline team.
• Own, administer, troubleshoot, and support the platforms the team manages.
• Write scripts, build test code, and integrate automation for the development pipeline.

DevOps Pipeline Engineer
Contract Position
Location: Columbia, SC - onsite 3x per week (Tues-Thurs)

Required Technologies:

• Python/JavaScript/TypeScript;

• Experience with pipeline tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, DevOps Deploy, GitHub)

Nice To Have:

• Having experience with more than one language is a big plus.

• Experience working with and integrating external APIs (particularly HTTP restful APIs) a big plus

• Containerization experience a plus (OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker)

Day To Day:

• We are looking for a developer to join our DevOps-focused Monitoring, Observability, & Pipeline team.

• This role supports and enhances the tools that make up our development pipeline, so candidates should be comfortable not only writing scripts, building test code, and integrating automation, but also owning, administering, troubleshooting, and supporting the platforms the team manages.

• The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of pipeline toolsets such as Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitHub, SonarQube, and DevOps Deploy.

• All positions require participation in a week-long on-call rotation roughly five times per year.
