Job Title: DevOps-Microservices Technical Lead

Duration: Full Time

DevOps-Microservices Technical Lead

As the Resiliency Studio Applications Architect Lead for DevOps, candidate will be a technical lead and assist hands on with defining and implementing the DevOps strategy and oversee micro services development architecture providing hands‑on support. This position requires a strong self‑starter with solid technical programming background and technical leadership qualities, who can lead the way, assist development teams with defining and implementing the Continuous Delivery pipeline and help with any other technical issues related to microservices development to automation and the DevOps model.

Qualifications

• Equivalent work experience and minimum 10+ years of hands on experience in Java. At least 3 years experience with Agile, Continuous Delivery and DevOps, preferably with an emphasis on Cloud development
• Hands on experience with Continuous Delivery and related tool sets
• Hands on experience with DevOps and related best practices
• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions around technology controls and their implementation in a DevOps/Cloud environment
• Strong java j2ee skills with hands on experience in designing and developing Microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Netflix OSS architecture with real world experience developing Microservices
• Spring 4 MVC
• Spring 4 REST
• Spring JPA
• NOSQL Data modelling – This is very important
• Elastic search 2.3.1
• Security concepts ( public key, private key , asymmetrical encryption)
• Experience in hysterix, circuit breaker, Microservices dependency and testing exposure with solid communication skills. Solid understanding of the performance and security aspects of distributed applications. Experience using DevOps suite of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and GIT/Stash is a plus. Experience with Cloud platforms as AWS, Open Stack is a plus.
• Experience in Docker/containerization and Kubernetes
