DevOps Manager
As a DevOps manager at o9, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented DevOps professionals to maintain and execute organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, release and deployment management, service monitoring, support and problem management across all major cloud providers – AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of o9 platform deployment and technical operations.
- Manage global DevOps team, assigning and monitoring work tasks and ensuring quality and efficiency is maintained.
- Hire and grow DevOps talent.
- Lead, plan, build, configure, test, and deploy DevOps solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to manage o9 platform deployment, maintenance and support needs.
- Promote DevOps strategies and implementation goals.
- Develop and deploy best in class automation to efficiently manage o9 platform deployments.
- Analyze and approve code and configuration changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Management experience: 6+ years building and leading high performing diverse teams as DevOps manager or Software Development Manager.
- Experience in a DevOps role: 5‑15 years, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling.
- 3 years of experience with Docker or similar; 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or similar.
- Working experience monitoring tool/stack (ELK, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic).
Skills
- Proficient with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Jenkins or similar technologies, Ansible, Terraform, Administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo).
- Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, critical thinking and testing skills.
- Ability to deliver independently and translate requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision.
- Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally across time zones.
Salary & Benefits
Annual salary range of $152,814–$210,119. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in medical, retirement, and other company‑sponsored benefits.
