Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Hands-on CI/CD ownership with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Solid Kubernetes fundamentals and upgrade understanding.
• Helm chart authoring or modification experience.
• Docker fluency, including multi-stage builds.
• Linux fluency with container networking.
• Experience with a secrets manager (Vault preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own GitLab CI across the platform: pipelines, publishing, and release process.
• Make builds reproducible with pinned images and deterministic deps.
• Own container registry, image promotion, retention, and scanning Gate.
• Maintain Helmfile-based installer for multi-service stack.
• Build automated tests for infrastructure code and cluster deploys.
• Build Python tooling for configuration generation and checks.
• Operate Vault: policy scoping, init and unseal flows.
• Support internal customers for deployment and pipeline issues.
• Assist field deployments; no after-hours on-call rotation.
