Job summary

Flex Databases ищет DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer, который будет работать над безопасной и унифицированной инфраструктурой для жизни наук. Ваша работа охватит серверы, мониторинг, автоматизацию и поддержку продакшн-систем, соединяясь с командами разработчиков и QA.

Qualifications

• 3+ лет опыта в инфраструктуре, DevOps или схожей роли.
• Администрирование Windows и/или Linux серверов на продакшн-уровне.
• Опыт эксплуатации продакшн-инфраструктуры: мониторинг, устранение сбоев, бэкапы.
• Базовые знания сетей, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewall-ы и смежных технологий.
• Автоматизация инфраструктуры и управление конфигурациями.
• Практический опыт CI/CD инструментов и процессов.
• Хорошие знания Git и TFS.
• Опыт работы в хотя бы с одной публичной облачной платформой.
• Поддержка и администрирование продакшн БД (установка, настройка, бэкап, мониторинг).
• Скриптовые языки: Python, Bash и/или PowerShell.
• Умение разбирать проблемы инфраструктуры, развёртывания и приложений.

Flex Databases team is looking for a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer who can approach infrastructure with intelligence and pragmatism. We create and implement a secure, unified, and compliant electronic system developed specifically for life sciences. The system is composed of modules covering clinical, safety, quality and compliance, as well as project and finance management, from project start-up to product post-marketing. Our mission is reflected in the system – flexible, unified, and hassle-free for users.

Требования:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
• Strong practical experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• Experience with production infrastructure operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and related infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Good knowledge of Git and TFS.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform.
• Experience supporting and administering production database systems (installation, configuration, backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues.
• Ability to work with existing and legacy systems and improve them incrementally without introducing unnecessary operational risk.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Practical, hands-on approach to infrastructure operations.
• Comfortable combining day-to-day infrastructure work with DevOps engineering tasks.
• Willingness to support existing systems rather than focusing exclusively on new technologies.
• Ability to understand an existing system before proposing significant changes.
• Ability to identify repetitive manual work and automate it where appropriate.
• Pragmatic approach to technology selection and infrastructure improvements.
• Ability to introduce improvements gradually, with appropriate assessment of operational risks.
• Ability to collaborate with system administrators, developers, QA engineers, and software architects.
• Будет плюсом: Ansible experience is preferred; Jenkins experience is preferred; experience with GitLab and TFS is preferred; AWS experience is preferred; Experience with Firebird is a strong advantage; experience with other relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) is also acceptable
