Job summary

Leading Path Consulting seeks a DevOps engineer to support enterprise mission systems across design, engineering, implementation, development and maintenance. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform IaC, and operate AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).

Expertise with Docker and scripting (Bash, Python) is essential. Responsibilities include integrating diverse software systems, ensuring security and best-practice architectures, and maintaining robust

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for IaC.
• Hands-on AWS experience across EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Containerization experience with Docker (and related tooling).
• Scripting in Bash and Python for automation tasks.
• Experience self-hosting databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with backup and HA.
• Monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Alertmanager and CloudWatch.
• Integrating diverse software systems across AWS, open-source apps, and custom apps.
• Solid grasp of networking, security, IAM policies, and AWS best practices.
• Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, implement, develop and maintain enterprise quality mission systems and applications.

Support a team specializing in designing, engineering, implementation, development and maintenance of enterprise quality mission systems, networks, and applications - DevOps position Mandatory Skills

• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing Cl/CD pipelines (Jenkins required)
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform (required)
• Demonstrated experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, 1AM, CloudWatch, and other core services
• Demonstrated experience with containerization (such as Docker and Pod man)
• Strong scripting proficiency: Bash (required) and Python (required)
• Experience with database self-hosting including installation, configuration, backup/recovery, high availability, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL and MySQL)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems such as Prometheus/Alertmanager and CloudWatch
• Demonstrated experience integrating and deploying diverse software systems: AWS cloud services, open-source applications, COTS/GOTS products, and custom applications
• Strong understanding of networking, security, 1AM policies, and AWS architecture best practices
• Experience with Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices

Optional Skills

• Experience deploying and managing data platform components: Apache Spark, Tri no, Apache Ranger, Apache Iceberg, Apache Superset, data catalogs
• Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures and supporting infrastructure
• Experience with secrets management solutions (AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store)
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and continuity planning
• Familiarity with API gateways and modern microservices patterns
• Experience with cost optimization practices in AWS
• Background deploying and supporting Al/ML workloads or model serving infrastructure
• Experience mentoring team members on DevOps and cloud best practices
• Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
• Familiarity with additional monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience integrating customer's Enterprise services
