Job summary

Swift is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Annapolis-Junction, MD team. You will optimize and automate deployment pipelines across platforms, leveraging AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to deliver scalable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has extensive SE experience, a BS in a related field, and security credentials (CWIP IAT Level I; TS/SCI with Polygraph). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product specs into production-ready code and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive systems engineering experience required for similar scope projects.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, CS, IS, or related field.
• 5 years of SE experience may substitute for a degree.
• AWS, containerization, IaC and CI/CD skills are required.
• CWIP IAT Level I required.
• US citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimization and automation across platforms and applications.
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
• Utilize tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux.
• Collaborate with teams on large projects and AWS-based setups.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and production-ready infrastructure.
• Understand customer needs and translate specs into deliverables.
