Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Herndon, VA to join a mission‑critical team. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and offers a salary up to $225,000 per year. Core hours are 9am–4pm, with labor category and expert level described in the posting.

Responsibilities include deploying AWS resources, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security compliance across cloud and physical infrastructures while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph
• 10+ years’ experience with DevOps, frontend or full stack development
• Experience with Bash scripting and AWS environments
• Linux administration and systems design experience
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with security compliance and patching

Responsibilities

• Deploy AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) for scalable architecture
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD processes using GitLab and GitHub
• Run vulnerability scans, apply patches, update cloud and on‑prem infrastructures
• Design and maintain Kubernetes and EKS clusters for high availability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure complete, functional systems
• Recommend and implement process and policy improvements
