The role requires 8+ years in DevOps, CI/CD and containers, TS/SCI with polygraph, and a Bachelor's or Master’s in a related field; mentoring experience is a bonus.

As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management sof tware to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.
As a lead platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. You’ll guide your team as they use the latest cloud technologies to improve your client’s environment with current container sof tware to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform expertise, you’ll lead your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.

You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues with CI / CD pipeline failures or slowness
• Experience developing, managing, and securing containers
• Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a collaborative team environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in DevOps, or Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience in DevOps

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
• Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
• Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
