As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.
As a lead platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. You’ll guide your team as they use the latest cloud technologies to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform expertise, you’ll lead your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.
Work with us to use cloud platform technology for good.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
You Have:

  • Experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • Experience building and operating AWS infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads, including service networking, persistent storage, scaling, and troubleshooting
  • Experience developing Ansible automation and maintaining infrastructure as code
  • Experience automating infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Ability to diagnose issues across cloud infrastructure, container platforms, and application deployments
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AWS GovCloud and deployment constraints associated with DoW Impact Level 5 environments
  • Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or comparable tools and reusable Ansible roles and playbooks
  • Experience integrating static and dynamic application security testing, dependency checks, and container image scanning into delivery pipelines
  • Experience deploying and supporting databases or search platforms, including storage configuration, backup and recovery, and availability
  • Experience integrating enterprise identity services, managing secrets, and automating certificate deployment and renewal
  • Experience implementing health checks, resource monitoring, rollback procedures, and tested recovery processes
